“Obertoora” The Flying Chorus: Teezûck! El Pez Que Voló! Râhoola: Hello earthlings! I’m Râhoola, the interdimensional being. I have traveled time and space gathering stories of mind freeing. Yes, for eons I have listened, in both awe and recognition, tales from countless multiverses, of wise seers and their visions. Tales of heroines and heroes who’ve transcended physical forms, and transmuted into eternal entities, of light and source. But there’s one peculiar story, that quite fondly I’d like to share, of the power that’s contained within a fully aligned prayer. The Pentacle: Have you ever really wondered why sometimes we dream of flying? Daring logic, even reason, and without the fear of dying? Well it seems that we’ve been granted this divine oneiric gift by a creature, dominated by the illusion of such drift. Râhoola: For his wish was so intense that he even broke the nature’s law. The willing seed of two worlds lived, becoming “El Pez Que Voló”. The Flying Chorus: Teezûck! El Pez Que Voló!

Genezees 09:27
“Genezees” I. - Near the shores of Wáng-Montòor Râhoola: A quarter million years ago near the shores of Wáng-Montòor, there dwelt one giant catfish who struggled to endure. His strength was so impressive; his fins were hard and blue, but in his lonely path our friend was lost, he had no clue. Namazöoh: Na-ma-zöoh? Râhoola: Discreet and quiet fellow, he rarely spoke his mind, uncertain and afraid to show the truth: war made him blind! He feared cold rejection, being the last one of his kind. Yet one night his luck changed, for it seemed fate had arranged, Oh, a meeting with his soulmate: She! A bird who flew and shined. Aleekãnto: A-lee-kãn-to! Râhoola: The fish stood, amazed, while the precious bird flapped her wings releasing shiny loops of light across the sky like golden rings. His sight was back; Like magic! Blazing stars had struck his eyes. And dazzling she was flying, Namazöoh’s eyes were crying: He had met Aleekãnto, sparkling beauty and queen of skies. II. – One Bird, One Fish Da̐oom: When the sighted sea leaps to seed the sky, will my rightful heir come to life and cry For to purge its touch, snake who went awry, must a daunting path trace the fish who'll fly Aleekãnto: He, a fish, as brave as a man could wish Namazöoh: and she’s a bird, whose beauty could not be reached. Aleekãnto: Who’d believe, we’ve joyfully lived for years, ever since we built our love nest Aleekãnto & Namazöoh: by the sea. Namazöoh: It seems right: a bird dreams and lives to fly. Aleekãnto: Well he, bold fish, leaped high, soared across the sky just to prove: for me, he would… risk his life. Namazöoh: And she fell, the bird fell in love, bewitched… Aleekãnto, Namazöoh & The Flying Chorus: By the fish! Râhoola: Namazöoh and Aleekãnto fell in love near Wáng-Montòor, and it didn’t take long for them to know that what they had was real and pure. But the sky and sea were nervous: what in God’s name would they breed? For some foul abomination was expected from their seed! So one night of lunar eclipse, a voice preached of an advent, And its prophecy revealed: Râhoola & Da̐oom: Your son will be born to transcend! III. – The Great Prophecy & The Secret Oath The Flying Chorus: From light descent! And dark ascent! Their son will be born to transcend! Past lives amend! By this event! Their son will be born to transcend… Life! Aleekãnto & Da̐oom: Giant catfish, you’re the keeper of what’s noble and what’s true and you’ll father well my offspring, be his teacher Namazöoh. Namazöoh & Da̐oom: Aleekãnto, please be patient, share your kindness and through love bear “The Treader of the Seven Jeweled-Lotuses” Aleekãnto, Namazöoh & Da̐oom: My son! The Flying Chorus: To find the land! Its mission grand! Their son will be born to transcend, touched by the unnameable to stand: The eternal dance between laughter and blaring lament! Râhoola: The unnameable proceeded with a cryptic holy verse, which bird and fish both heard and heeded, wondering: Blessing or a curse? Da̐oom: One day he’ll have a dream, his vision he will seek a path that will be shown, through puzzles of the unknown. You mustn’t block his fate, yet keep him safe and wait: This prophecy of sky and sea, a secret oath, kept by you both. Agree my terms, and child: be born! IV. – A Leap of Hope – El Pez Que Nació Aleekãnto & Namazöoh: Yes! Da̐oom: Genezees! Râhoola: The supernal womb was ready, and the part bird – part fish popped, but as soon as he touched the ocean he jumped back up to the top, so his parents shouted: Stop! As they blocked his rightful hop. Teezûck: (baby noises) Aleekãnto: In the shadows you will remain, oh, you most precious blood of ours. Namazöoh: For this world is so foully insane, and here you’ll have your own bed of flowers. Râhoola: They felt so proud and joyous: Such euphoric living beings! I mean, yeah, he had four eyes, green scales, a glow and two finlike wings… …but it was love’s purest desire, and it was their most cherished wish, so they named their son in choir: Aleekãnto & Namazöoh: Prince Teezûck! Râhoola: The Flying Fish.

Teezûck 04:51 video
“Teezûck” Teezûck: Mama and papa are still around, but I feel down and lonesome. What is life? Not to be bound, nor dwelling in the dark, so I ask: Is it wrong to have fins and wings? I just wanna fly away and sing: “Bliss!” Perhaps I’m a freak, but I’m not weak! Who am I? Well my name is Teezûck! The Flying Choir: Teezûck! Deformed Shadow: Can you taste my fetid waste? Please inhale my loathsome snail. Teezûck: I’ve been longing for far too long to find a place where I will belong. Not this blackness beneath the seas, oh where’s this place where I’ll find such peace? Deformed Shadow: Lost! Teezûck: Mama and papa had been kind, they’ve spared my life from distress. But what are these thoughts in my mind? Why can’t I just confess that I’ve seen an amazing place in my dreams? Where there’s no rejection and no tears. I ache for the day when I’ll please my wish and be the first flying fish going by the name of Teezûck! The Flying Chorus: Teezûck! Deformed Shadow: Can you absorb my gruesome worm? Please devour my putrid flower. Teezûck: I’ve been craving for endless nights to find the courage to avert these fights: Crazed fixation or thoughtful stand? I embrace the obsession to find this land! Is it hidden in somewhere cold? Will I tremble in fear to fall? Can I gracefully yield in faith? Or will I shatter in doubt and hate? Deformed Shadow: I’m your fear Teezûck, don’t defy your luck! Hear me well green schmuck: Deny thy fate, or else you’ll be struck! Teezûck: (sobs)
4.
Fear Thyself 01:46
“Fear Thyself” Teezûck: But… who are you? Deformed Shadow: I am the chill that crawls up your spine when the filthy nails of despair scratch the chalkboard. I am the scatological purulence that sprouts from your brain and... decadent, looks back at you, from the mirror, the mirror you refuse to stare. Call me “El-Gabǎal”
5.
Twin Snails 04:56
“Twin Snails” The Flying Chorus: Poor Teezûck felt overwhelmed by his shadow’s spite and strength, so he sobbed in his home-nest for he couldn’t show his best. Every time he faced this goon, He would try to wash away the gloom By seeking shelter in Frauzz & Dollos, the twin snails who lurked in hollows. Râhoola: They were the only living creatures that knew our deformed friend’s features, and that wouldn’t run away, they would listen, they would stay. Râhoola: But their only commentaries were as sour as ivy berries, they discouraged odd Teezûck, who was ridiculed and mocked. Frauzz & Dollos: Teezûck the king of cowards, lives in the coral towers, hihihi… Frauzz: always afraid Dollos: to leave his nest Frauzz & Dollos: forever lonely and…. depressed! Ñañañañaña! Hihihi… Frauzz: You know Teezûck, Dollos and I have brought you a birthday present. Teezûck: Oh, Really? What is it? Dollos: A poem, sweet and pleasant. Frauzz: Wanna hear it? Teezûck: Yes, please! Frauzz & Dollos: Alright, listen to this! Frauzz: You will die in the dark, alone, while fear eats up your shaking bones, Dollos: and then you’ll cry in your dying hour, for being Teezûck Frauzz & Dollos and The Flying Chorus: “the old king of cowards.” Teezûck: …(grunts) Frauzz & Dollos: Hihihi, Ñañañañañaña! The Flying Chorus: They were right, El-Gabǎal reigned in his heart with great disdain, and Teezûck knew he had to fight, tame the creature, find the light. Râhoola: But as he was truly afraid to engage such fierce crusade, he just blamefully laid down, gazed the precious night’s starred gown, and he pleaded: Teezûck: “Help me fly!” Râhoola: To a bright star in the sky.
6.
Upon a Star 03:22
“Upon a Star” Teezûck: When I wish upon a star: “Take me to this place afar”, I can hear the silent scream of all that hasn't been. Then I'll go torment myself with the creatures coiled in shells, I can hear them sing to me like haunting, grim banshees: Frauzz & Dollos: Every time we listen to your fairytales we can almost taste the acid in the air! Teezûck: It’s so unfair, this confined lair! But can’t you see what I can see? Frauzz & Dollos: That place does not exist! Teezûck: Star: Please help me end this war with the obscure and the bizarre. Shut this voice that Teezûck & El-Gǎbaal: turns my fears into dry, hopeless tears! Frauzz & Dollos: Every time you tell us of these fantasies we just know for certain that you will desist! Teezûck: I wanna feel the unknown, and hear the untold, but then I see, that truth you see… Frauzz & Dollos: That you’re stuck here, fixed. Teezûck: Between and betwixt. Frauzz & Dollos: Chained in laurels, shackling morals. Teezûck, Frauzz & Dollos: Just a strange fish by some corals! Teezûck: Am I doomed to keep on waiting? And still wish upon that star: “Set me free, please send me far”.
7.
Holy Fruit 03:25
“Holy Fruit” Râhoola: At the moment the prayer ended, from the sky a fruit submerged, strangely glowing, alive, and knowing, surely not what he had searched. (The mystical fruit submerges) Teezûck: Huh? (The mystical fruit talks in an alien language) Râhoola: But before he could reject it, a voice whispered in his ears Da̐oom: Teezûck… Râhoola: ..and detailed how he would enter the oneiric land of the seers: Lo̍ohna: Eat, oh Teezûck, this gift and cease to weep, shut your eyes, and go to sleep. Dream, oh Teezûck, so peacefully and so deep, and look for him within, where two worlds join in a heap. (…Teezûck…) Teezûck: Chom! Chom! Chom! Chom! (Teezûck, bites the fruit, then he begins to choke as a psychedelic explosion breaks his mind and plunges him violently into sleep) Teezûck: …Zzzzz….Zzzzz… (entering the oneiric land of the seers)
8.
“A He̊-Kuree Dream” Teezûck: What is this place? It’s open and bright Is this a maze? It’s hurting my sight... Ohhh! There are creatures so strange and so amazing, am I awake? A pink fountain emerges from the center of this lake and everyone is drinking happily from this surrealist pond I haven’t even met them, though I know that we might bond There are birds with cantaloupe legs hanging from their scaly tails, monkeys with eleven arms and porcupine-like nails, and every single living creature in this paradise seems full of life, so merry, eager, blessed and free of lies. I swear I can touch the skies! Who is that? Oh…ohh! He̊-Kuree: Parararara….(humming) Oh well, hello my friend! Don’t you know my jolly stance? It was me who heard your prayer and now’s inviting you to dance. And perhaps you’re wondering: “Where am I?” “Who is this deer talking to me?” well worry not my curious mate for I am grandpa: He̊-Kuree! Hi, He̊-Kuree, at your service. Teezûck: What is my purpose and why am I here? What was the weird fruit you gave me old seer? He̊-Kuree: You, the chimera of heaven and hell Must purge all the filth from that mystical cell Teezûck: But I do not know how to raise my own voice, Will I stay in darkness? Do I have a choice? He̊-Kuree: You’ll have to confront them to leave Wáng-Montòor I’ll give you the courage, we’ll travel and tour Teezûck: Please share your wisdom: when are we to sail? And what am I to find if I were to prevail? He̊-Kuree: The day has arrived; you will carry your cross, In this journey to find your real home: The Flying Chorus: Varba͛dozz! He̊-Kuree: Come on, fly with me! (This place, this twisted land it’s all by your design, Yours truly, your friend: the voice inside your mind.) He̊-Kuree & The Flying Chorus: FLY AWAY WITH ME! FLY AWAY WITH ME!
9.
Mama, Papa! 04:08
“Mama, Papa!” Teezûck: Mama, Papa! Papa, Mama! I just dreamt with a deer, he was funny and queer Such a powerful seer! Papa, Mama! Mama, Papa! He said I was his grandson and that I could fly Is it true what he’s saying? Is it? Oh my! Papa, Mama! In this faraway land I felt joyful, Such incredible place where he lived! It is almost as if I was destined to experience such gift! Can I leave? Aleekãnto: Baby, precious, blood of my blood, What the hell are you talking about? Namazöoh: You have crazy eyes, and you’re trembling, boy you are freaking us out! Aleekãnto: Don’t you know that we are your protectors? Namazöoh: And out there you’ll find countless offenders… Aleekãnto, Namazöoh & El-Gabǎal: So no! We can’t let you harm your fragile self.. Teezûck: Aw…..Mama, Papa! Papa, Mama! But he told me of this quest! Look, he’s bound to my chest, Time to show him my best! Papa, Mama! Mama, Papa! Then my shoulders he grabbed And we soared through the sky! Is it true what he’s saying? Is it? Oh my! Papa, mama! Aleekãnto: But that faraway land is fictitious Namazöoh: They’re just foolish ideas in your head Aleekãnto: Please, Teezûck, just forget the mad babbling the old deer has said. Aleekãnto, Namazöoh & El-Gabǎal: It is for your best. Teezûck: Enough! Mother, father, loving creators, I know that my vision is true, I shall follow my very own color, and it ain't yellow nor blue. Please don't push it, trying to stop me, I'm not joking, for if you love me, say “Yes!”, give me a blessing, blow me a kiss or two. I’m sorry if you’re shocked, But I will live under no rock, Not stranded, chained, nor stuck, For today the choice belongs to your son: Teezûck! And I choose to fulfill my destiny.
10.
“Destiny Calls” Teezûck: Call me insane, but I will live the life that I was meant: No longer afraid to face the surreal, unique, sense of self, and the wicked mind Teezûck & El-Gabǎal: of my twisted kind. Teezûck: Shielded from pain by his strong fins, her cushioned feathers. Namazöoh & Aleekãnto: Boy you are no plane, your pair of wings won’t stand bad weathers! Teezûck: I know my weakness smiles: Teezûck & El-Gabǎal: Spoiled and lazy child. Teezûck: But stop holding me, like I’m still some helpless kid soaked by the rain! Namazöoh & Aleekãnto: Flying fish? Will you please hold on and change your mind? Wait a moment! Teezûck: No! I will leave in this very moment! Râhoola: So he fled his precious home-nest in a blatant raging thrill, for they shouldn’t try to stop him as he claimed his rightful will. And although he loved his makers, bravely and firm he cut the chains, for he felt a scorching fire flowing strong within his veins. Not Namazöoh, nor Aleekãnto, El-Gabǎal nor Wáng-Montòor would hold him back from his new life quest, proudly eager to mature. Now Teezûck, renewed and driven, shall relentlessly abide every obstacle and shackle that his seeking may contrive! The Flying Chorus: Will this mutant find his glory? Will he lose to earthly pride? He shall tell us his grand story, let him be our cosmic guide! In this gnostic ride! Teezûck: Wohhh!

about

EPQV is a musical quest to unearth the divine gem hidden within oneself. A cartoonish collection of desires, phobias, pathologies and virtues which are funneled to create an ambivalent moral mishmash of East and West traditions. This zoomorphic, naïve & messianic hero's journey is infused with a psychedelic aura that invites us to dream the impossible. . .

ACT I – The Nest , introduces Teezûck, the strange son of a bird and a fish who lives depressed in the dark depths of the sea. One magical night he receives a stellar gift: an oneiric vision, a call to face his inner fears and seek his true destiny. Themes such as overprotection, toxic victimhood, altered states, maturity and the flow between divinity & delusion are explored within this eclectic, fantasy-fueled extravaganza.

The EPQV series feature a capricious, free mixture of musical styles, genres, production values and aesthetics, which serve as narrative devices to highlight moments, characters & emotions across this highly unconventional sonic expedition.
